Board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, Manila Gaddh, MD, specializes in the treatment of leukemia, lymphoma, as well as bleeding and clotting disorders. Dr. Gaddh began practicing with Emory Healthcare in 2012.
Dr. Gaddh is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. She also holds membership with the Hemostasis & Thrombosis Research Society, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Gaddh earned her medical degree at the Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India. She then went on to complete her residency and internship at John H Stroger, Jr. Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Gaddh's research focuses on thrombosis in cancer patients and bone marrow failure syndromes. She is currently involved in developing an evidence-based algorithmic approach to evaluation of thrombotic disorders, and is working towards exploring the feasibility of novel therapies, including combined thrombectomy and low dose anticoagulation, for treatment of thrombosis in cancer patients.
