Dr. Shaib joined Winship Cancer Institute as a fellow in 2011 where he was Chief Fellow in Medical Oncology from July 2013 through June 2014. During his residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, he was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine from 2010 to 2011. He is board certified in internal medicine since 2010.
Dr. Shaib is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American Association for Cancer Research.
Dr. Shaib earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Shaib then went on to complete his fellowship at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Dr. Shaib's research focus is in gastrointestinal malignancies.
